If you are seeking to transition to an expert level in mountaineering, the Antisana Volcano is just for you. In this 12 day expedition we will review all the necessary skills to make you a qualified mountaineer. You will traverse glaciers, learn about their risks, learn crevasse rescues, rope up, use jumars and fixed ropes, learn knots, climb ice walls, rappel, and at the end you will summit this iconic mountain.

Day 3: Quito Gangotena Hotel. City/Historical Tour and dinner at a Prize-Winning Ecuadorian Gourmet/Fusion Restaurant
Day 4: Pasochoa (acclimatization/ropes basics)
Day 5: Rucu Pichincha ridge/fixed ropes school
Day 6: Antisana/fixed ropes school (overnight at 4600m)
Day 7: Antisana/fixed ropes school (there is a safe glacier full of features)(overnight en Papallacta)
Day 8: Antisana Summit attempt
Day 9: Antisana Summit attempt
Day 10: Rest day Zuleta
Day 11: Rest day Zuleta
